Charleston, South Carolina is a graceful southern city filled with history and style. Though rich in tradition, Charleston has a healthy gay community and plenty of gay-friendly establishments. Most of the best places to go can be found in the downtown area, but the city of North Charleston, only ten minutes north, is also worth a visit. There are plenty of historical sites to visit, and a wonderful dining scene when you work up an appetite.
